Anderson University
School of Science and Engineering

The mission of Anderson University is to educate for a life of faith and service in the church and society.

We, in the School of Science and Engineering, are committed to living out this mission. We believe there is a need, no a calling for Christian engineers to impact society for the glory of God. Engineers have a distinct advantage in servant stewardship. Engineers have, for centuries, constructed bridges, built schools and churches, provided water, among others to impoverished communities. What better a mission field to have than to serve somebody who is in need. Christ teaches us all to love one another; to clothe the naked, feed the hungry, care for the sick...

To this end, the School of Science and Engineering strives to set an example for our students. We are currently working on projects that will provide clean water to those without, provide mobility to those who lack it, and other projects that are still being developed. This provides great opportunities for the students to not only learn the necessary skills for engineering design, but to then implement these ideas through real world applications!

If you feel a desire to help us out or if you think that an engineering degree from Anderson University is something you'd like to hear more about, please send us an e-mail at engineering@anderson.edu and we'll be in touch.
